As a Senior Hadoop / Big Data Developer, you will play a valuable role within this team. We are looking for a candidate with the potential to grow into an Expert IT Developer role.
You will be assigned to a specific project where we practice the SAFe way of working.
Must-Have Knowledge and Experience- A minimum of 8 years of total commercial experience in the IT industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Java 8+ and/or Scala development.
- Practical experience working with Spark.
- Strong knowledge of the Hadoop stack (including YARN, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, MapReduce, Oozie, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with functional programming techniques and principles (especially in Scala).
- Experience with Streaming Technologies, such as Flink or Kafka.
- Familiarity with Data Analysis.
- Familiarity with the SAFe Agile way of working.
