We are looking for two Senior Java Developers to join our international client in the insurance industry. This is a long-term engagement offering the opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to large-scale enterprise solutions.
About the Role
In this position, you will work within the Guidewire ecosystem, leveraging Java and Gosu (a proprietary language used within Guidewire, based on Java). Direct experience with Gosu is an advantage, but not required. The client is primarily focused on candidates capable of delivering high‑quality, clean, and maintainable code that aligns with Guidewire, SI, and internal engineering standards.
You will collaborate with distributed teams, contribute to solution design, and help develop and maintain insurance-related systems hosted on AWS.
Requirements:
Strong experience in Java (senior level).
Experience with Guidewire or willingness to work with Gosu.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
Ability to produce high-quality code aligned with established technical standards.
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain features within the Guidewire platform using Java and Gosu.
Deliver clean,well-structured, and maintainable code following established standards.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and QA teams to ensure technical quality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Work within a long-term, enterprise-scale insurance project.
